If you’re finding it hard to relax or you feel anxious and restless, maybe it’s time for some relaxation!

  1. Get Out – Simply going for a walk, can have incredible benefits for your mental health. Spending time in the great outdoors has the ability to lift your mood and clear your mind. If you re training with us, a walk can help recall a lot of learned material. Getting outside can increase your happiness dramatically.
  1. Do More Physical Activities – As we all know exercise has its benefits, stress hormones increase when we are under pressure, physical activity is the greatest way to reclaim your optimum state, and help you feel more at ease. Running, walking, yoga, swimming, playing tennis and football. All these are forms of exercise that can have a relaxing effect after completion.
  1. Learn a Relaxation Technique – Breathing exercises and even just simple forms of meditation, can help you reach peak relaxation, this can be a difficult task for many -but if achieved can have tremendous benefits.
  1. Make Time – Everything today is so fast-paced and we can start to feel like we don’t have time for certain things, however, we need to remember that we all have the same 24 hours. It’s important to make time for things that can help you achieve. Having time for yourself and just relaxing, is just as important as getting enough exercise, eating healthy, and getting enough sleep.

Be Creative – Being creative has a relaxing effect on your mind, so if you have any musical talents; play on your favourite musical instrument, paint, write, knit - anything to help settle your mind, It feels amazing to be absorbed in an activity that you enjoy.
