  • Characteristics of different energy transfer modes.
  • Heat exchangers: design principles, types, and new technologies.
  • Simulation tools for heat exchanger design and optimization.
     

Day 3: Distillation, Purification, and Separation

  • Distillation processes: design, control, and operational characteristics.
  • Purification techniques and their application.
  • Separation processes and methods.
  • Simulation of separation processes using tools like HyperChem.
     

Day 4: Reactors and Reaction Engineering

  • Overview of different types of reactors and their operational modes.
  • Reaction kinetics, reaction routes, and optimization techniques.
  • Reaction rate equations and conditions prediction.
  • Use of reactors in hydrocarbon and industrial solvent processing.
     

Day 5: Process Simulators and Computational Chemistry
