Prerequisites

Students are expected to use MS-Project, MS-Word, Excel and PowerPoint in completing their assignments and projects
Secondary degree
21 contact hours of training in agile practices
12 months of general project experience within the last 5 years. A current PMP® or PgMP® will satisfy this requirement but is not required to apply for the PMI-ACP
8 months of agile project experience within the last 3 years

Objective:

By the end of this course, participants will have the skills and knowledge to:

Acquire agile training, hands-on experience in agile projects, and a deep understanding of agile practices, tools, and techniques, all validated through a rigorous exam.
Comprehend and effectively apply multiple agile approaches, such as Scrum, XP, and Lean development.
Attain a certification that holds greater credibility than offerings solely based on exams or training.

Day 1: Agile Principles and Mindset

- Explore, embrace, and apply agile principles and mindset within the context of the project team and organisation

Day 2: Value-Driven Delivery, Stakeholder Engagement, and Team Performance

Domain II: Value-Driven Delivery (4 sub-domains, 14 tasks)
- Deliver valuable results through high-value increments, stakeholder feedback, and continuous improvement.
Domain III: Stakeholder Engagement (3 sub-domains, 9 tasks)
Foster trust, collaboration, and informed decision-making with stakeholders.
Cultivate high-performance team environments based on trust, learning, and self-organisation.
Domain IV: Team Performance (3 sub-domains, 9 tasks)

Day 3: Adaptive Planning, Problem Detection and Resolution, Continuous Improvement

Domain V: Adaptive Planning (3 sub-domains, 10 tasks)
- Create and maintain evolving plans based on goals, values, risks, and stakeholder feedback.
Domain VI: Problem Detection and Resolution (5 tasks)
Continuously identify, prioritise, and resolve problems and impediments while implementing process improvements.
Drive ongoing enhancement of product quality, process effectiveness, and team performance.
