Nothing tests command like a major event or a fast-moving incident. This five-day programme develops the senior leader's ability to design, lead and adapt command structures when the stakes are high, the environment is dynamic, and multiple agencies must act as one.
It sets out the theory of command, including structured decision-making, span of control and information flow, and then puts it to work through realistic, scenario-based application drawn from major sporting, entertainment and public events.
Delegates leave able to build a command structure, hold a strategic command role with confidence, and keep control when a planned event turns into a live incident. Delivered over five days, the course carries 20 CPD hours and is available as a classroom or in-house programme.
