About the course
The defining test of a senior public-safety leader is the quality of their decisions when time is short, information is incomplete and the consequences are serious. This five-day programme strengthens how senior leaders think, decide and account for their decisions under pressure. It introduces the theory of judgement and decision-making, including cognitive bias, heuristics and structured decision models, then applies it through realistic, high-consequence scenarios.
Delegates develop a personal decision-making discipline, learn to lead decision-making in teams, and build the confidence to act decisively while remaining accountable. Delivered over five days, the course carries 20 CPD hours and is available as a classroom or in-house programme.
