Change management is a structured approach to transitioning individuals, teams and businesses from a current state to a desired future state. During the course delegates will learn how to design a change programme which allows for each stage of the Change Curve.  They will consider how change is likely to impact individuals and why adopting a people focused change management plan is critical to success.  Delegates will practice identifying stakeholders and crafting messages that positively influence them and minimise disruption.

Most changes mean people will need to learn new skills or ways of doing things, so the course also covers education and learning support for change in the form of coaching, counselling and training.  Other areas covered during the course include:

  • Building organisational readiness for change
  • Preparing for resistance
  • Embedding the change
  • Measuring progress

By the end of the course delegate will not only understand change, but they will be ready to lead others in successfully embracing changes in the business environment.
