About the course
Senior public-safety leaders spend most of their time influencing people they cannot command: ministers, partner agencies, event organisers, the media and the public. This five-day programme develops the strategic influencing, stakeholder leadership and high-level communication skills that senior public-safety roles demand.
It covers the theory of influence, power and stakeholder dynamics, then the practical craft: chairing high-stakes meetings, briefing and persuading senior decision-makers, building multi-agency coalitions, and holding your position with authority and credibility.
It is designed for leaders who must deliver through relationships, not rank. Delivered over five days, the course carries 20 CPD hours and is available as a classroom or in-house programme.
